Meet the Team
Ansley Majit, Founding Principal
Ansley's design style is best described as "Classic with a Twist." This personal motto, carried since her teenage years, shows in her elevated yet playful approach to interiors. The infusion of color and a sense of tasteful irreverence define her distinctive aesthetic.
Ansley's greatest design strengths lie in her ability to creatively transform physical spaces, a skill honed by years of experience, a keen eye for potential, and strong instinct for how a space will suit a client’s lifestyle. She brings original design visions to clients and encourages their trust in the design process with a unique blend of creativity and leadership. Her decision-making and flouting of restrictive design rules create the potential for endless design opportunities.
As Design Principal at L+P Interiors, Ansley has a knack for identifying and fostering design talent, and loves working with young designers to channel their passion and become thriving design professionals. She brings a unique set of skills from leadership and decision-making, project management and client relations, to visionary design ideas that are always creative, personalized, and original. She has the ability to design with both form and function in mind, transforming existing spaces, or creating something entirely new that allows clients to live better in their spaces every day.
Megan Bettor, Studio Director
Growing up with a family in the construction business, Megan has always loved a job site. Renovations and remodels were a constant in her life and watching a project go from framing to finish laid the foundation for her love of the process. After graduating from UCLA, Megan began a career in advertising and entertainment production that spanned more than 20 years, but her love of design and renovations continued to be part of her life through multiple home renovations both in LA and Marin County. In 2021, she decided to blend her production skills and her love of design and joined the L+P Interiors team full time as the Studio Director.
Megan approaches each project with a clear vision and a keen attention to detail. Her focus on budgets, timelines, strategic processes and general resource management is what makes our projects process as seamless and bespoke as the design and she values building strong relationships with clients, trade partners, architects and builders. In her free time, she will be found traveling or spending time with friends and family.
Malia Lucey, Junior Designer
Malia’s love of design began young as she watched her parents navigate their construction and property management business. This interest led her to pursue a degree in Interior Design with a minor in Business. Malia joined the L+P Interiors team as an intern and was quickly promoted to Design Assistant and now works as a Junior Designer. No task is too big or too small, and she loves seeing designs grow from an idea, onto paper and into the world.
Malia loves that L+P considers blues and greens as neutrals and our focus on creating a collected space that reflects the people who will live in it. She is thrilled to be on a team of women who collaborate and support her growth as a designer and project manager.
In her free time Malia loves to explore new restaurants in the city or up in Healdsburg with her friends and family. She loves finding restaurants where she can appreciate the design just as much as the food and she looks forward to L+P’s future hospitality projects.
Grace Heller, Design Assistant
Grace grew up in the Bay Area, and gives credit to her mom for helping her appreciate design and the importance of making a space feel welcoming. She graduated from UC Davis, where she earned a double major in Economics and Design, with a concentration in Interior Architecture, equipping her with a unique blend of design sensibility and strategic thinking. She previously worked at Pottery Barn in the textiles division where she analyzed data and developed seasonal product ideas and proposals based on emerging trends.
Grace has a passion for vintage aesthetics, often spending weekends exploring flea markets, antique shops, and thrift stores, hunting for one-of-a-kind pieces to infuse into designs and her own space. With a keen eye for detail and a love for sustainable practices, Grace is dedicated to the L+P approach of creating inviting and functional spaces that reflect individuality and style.
